Progress for the baby, but not for the blog

Hi all,
So we have been bad bloggers and have not posted for over a month. But we have good excuses: Laura is pregnant (of course) and I had the bar exam in late July. We leave for Hawaii tomorrow morning for a combination post-bar exam trip/destination wedding. Some friends of ours are getting married in Hawaii, so we decided that would be our post-exam getaway, too.

This weekend we had our baby-birthing class. It was a "what to expect" sort of thing over a couple days. It was not so complex as something like a lamaze class. It was a good experience. I think Laura knew most of it, and I knew a fair bit (the stuff that Laura has passed along), but we both learned something. We also did a tour of the hospital. We actually had a bit of a scare (all is well - no need to worry) last week and we saw a bit of the hospital then too. Coincidentally, while they were wheeling Laura down for a sonogram, we passed another tour. I will say this, the Reston hospital has a nice maternity ward.

Oh, and we still don't the gender. We had the chance to find out while at the hospital, but Laura is strong and holding out on not knowing. Drives me nuts.

We'll post some more after we get back. We keep saying we will post some of the rejected names, so maybe that will be next.
